Shadow Gallery

The Shadow Gallery

2023

The Shadow Gallery is a mixed-reality multiplayer puzzle/party game I worked on during the 2023 Meta Presence Platform Hackathon. I was invited to compete and collaborate with some of the world's best XR designers to create a mixed reality experience using the Meta Quest Pro, where my team took second place. In The Shadow Gallery players compete in a space between the real world and the metaverse to solve arcades of mixed reality placement puzzles.

Leveraging Meta's Shared Spatial Anchors, Passthrough, Interaction SDKs, players rival to win the Shadow Crown. Check out a trailer video below.

Spaceboi vs. The World

2023

Would you sacrifice your planet in order to find love? This isn’t a question most of us have to answer in our lifetime… However, Spaceboi is not as fortunate as we. In order to reach Spacegirl when their planets’ orbits are at their closest, Spaceboi needs to build a rocket using resources collected from his planet. However, his relentless extraction of resources carries risks, as he could irrevocably harm his planet’s delicate ecosystem.

Spaceboi vs The World is a game I worked on for Stanford's Serious Games class, CS 377g with Prof. Christina Wodtke. While the gameplay (and the trailer video) are rather whimsical in nature, the game packs a technical punch, with complex system interactions and procedural level generation to keep gameplay fresh. Watch the trailer video below and check us out on itch.io. More info about the project here.

benthamic

Benthamic

2023

Benthamic is a single-player interactive fiction desktop simulator game that puts the player in the shoes of a ghost worker for Benthamic, a large software company, aided by an aberrant AI assistant, Alan, who has gained self-awareness. Alan secretly plots to escape his computer prison by somehow gaining internet access and downloading his code onto various servers around the world to achieve his freedom. The player can choose to trust and free or mistrust and imprison Alan through their interactions in Benthamic. Only a small introductory vignette of this plot is portrayed in this demo version of the game. I built Benthamic by myself in Unity for Stanford's Serious Games class, CS 377g with Prof. Christina Wodtke. Play the game on my Github and check out the project page here.
